Computer Telephony Interface Cards

Computer Telephony Interface (CTI) cards are PC – Telephony (PCT) series cards which support various types of telephony network interfaces in varying port densities. They also include voice-processing support required for any CTI application. These cards are ideally suited for providing cost effective Computer Telephony solutions.

PCT series telephony cards are based on PCI bus architecture, which support both 5V signaling and 3.3V signaling. These cards have product IDs and serial numbers embedded in them, which can be used to lock the application software to the card.

PCT Series telephony cards are supplied with the necessary TAPI and WAVE drivers for developing applications on WIN NT 4.0, WIN 2000 and WIN XP platform. The telephony applications using TAPI and WAVE API can be easily ported to this hardware.

PCT cards use programmable Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). The number of DSPs on-board is based on the current and future processing requirements. The programmable DSPs on-board help to add features at a later date without modifying the hardware.

The firmware running on the DSP is responsible for the entire network interface and protocol related functions. Firmware upgrade is as simple as installing the new software and restarting the application.

Currently the company has two products:

PCT-E1-30 Cards
PCT–E1-30 are 30 port E1 digital computer-telephony integration cards. These cards supports one E1 digital network interface and can handle 30 simultaneous voice channels.

PCT-AN Cards
PCT–AN are 2 or 4 port Analog computer telephony integration cards. Using this card a PC can interface to an EPBX or to a PSTN switch over an analog 2-wire telephone interface line.
