Tata Cell launches 'VoiceMe'
Newstoday, Hyderabad: Tata Cellular in association with Speech and Software Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd., (SSTIL) a Tata enterprise, launched voiceme in
the state AP.
Tata Cellular chief operating officer S K Subramanian
while addressing a press here on Wednesday said the service works as an
introductory offer.
Subramanian said the new service introduced for the
first time in India, converts text messages of any size sent to a cellular
phone, either from a cellular phone or computer, into voice messages and plays
them over the user’s cellular phone.
The UP of Voiceme is automatic
text-to-speech conversion and Indianised text speech. The new service based on
IVR system is subscribes of Tata Cellular across the state. Tata Cell
subscribers can access the service by dialing 229898.
