ENS Economic Bureau, Hyderabad June 27: Now
you can lend voice to your email! Thanks to VoiceMe, a new service launched by
the Tata Cellular for the first time in the country, allows you to receive or
send voice messages using Tata network.
The technology convert text
messages of any size sent to a cellular phone, either from a cellular phone or a
computer, into voice messages and plays them over the user’s mobile phone,
according to Tata Cell vice-president (marketing, sales and customer service)
Subramanian Iyer said.
This service, based on the IVR (interative voice
response) system, is available free of cost for a period of one month to Tata’s
post-paid subscribers. They can logon to the service by dialing 229898.This
