Our online booking system has the capability to provide online booking modules that
can be used to book products, services over the Internet.
The Online Reservation consists of two interfaces namely:
The administrator
interface
The user interface
Administrator interface:
(for instance in a hotel industry)
This has a user login and password for every user
who has rights to access the system and change
the information. There is an administrator for
every property the hotel owns and only he can change the
Room rates
Change availability status
Update rates or give seasonal/internet
booking discounts
Close room bookings
through the Internet etc.
The administrator cannot change
the properties of a hotel at another location, for which he is not in-charge.

The users on entering the web site will be able to see the following screen

Corporate users have special rates and discounts due to their bulk business.
A new user can register himself and then book a room giving his credit card
information. As the user selects his city of stay, the properties of the chain
in that city are activated and the rates displayed for the available rooms in the
hotel. The user is charged only if he stays at the hotel, he is not charged for
booking the room. On arrival at the hotel he can opt to pay through his credit card
or settle by cash. It is also possible to cancel the rooms through the Internet.
As and when the administrator updates the room status availability, the client/guest is
able to view it. This is achieved by connecting the client and administrator databases together.
Only a certain ratio of rooms is open for Internet booking and this will also be closed
during festive seasons to accommodate the hotel’s regular guests. Moreover the user can
see rate quotes only if the room is available and if there are no rooms, no rates will
be displayed.
